There are video games that are completely based on probability, such as “Darkest Dungeon”, a game in which you have to manage a team of heroes in a fight against some dark creatures. Geometry is particularly important for this reason, because knowledge of planes, vectors and angles is essential. Typically, mathematics is involved in the development of video games, when they have a physics engine or deal with statistics and probabilities.
Some first-person shooter games or racing games have complex and realistic physics known as the game engine. In modern games, the math must be complex to create an authentic feeling.
