“Nicu Gane” National College is not only an educational institution with the role of educating young people, but also a cultural centre. It is meant to carry out a complex educational process represented both by the educational process itself, but also by the initiation and organization of socio-cultural events with a wider opening. School and extracurricular activities thus become components of a unique programme that the institution develops and supports with all its means and resources.The College thus also becomes a method of encouraging the process of lifelong education, as a factor through which to maintain links with higher level institutions and cultural centres. It is thus opposed to the phenomenon of isolation that the status of the community to which it belongs might imply. It is also a method of propagating ideas and supporting young people of merit.
